Well, each game does have an ETA of 3/1/2006. Maybe thats the expected release date for the Revolution.

Link u have the biggest obsession with video games, also, gamestop always puts a random date up if they are not sure when its suppose to come out.. I.E- say they release some info on a certain game called, "Football 2007" on a magazine, gamestop needs 2 put it on their website and if the magazine has the release date as, TBA- To be announced, gamestop logically guesses when it comes out :P

Even though FF and Zelda have been some of my favorite games (and SSB was lots of fun too) I'm still getting a PS3.

I'm not bothering throwing away my money at any of these consoles right now - I'm not too keen on getting ANY of them at ANY time - but if I was to pick one up, at LEAST wait until 3 months after the relase date so you can get the low-down and future of the system.

Me, I'm stickin' to PC games. I've taken the leap - I just sold my PS2 and XBOX. Only keeping my PSP, my PS1 and my N64 (For Resident Evil 2 and Perfect Dark o_O I like old stuff sometimes).

No way the revolution will be out by March 1st. I'm thinking 6 or maybe more months after that. They just make up dates and put them down with a disclaimer until they know when the games will actually be out.

I think the revolution will be coming out in Summer/fall next year, so possibly increase the ETAs a few months

Based on the info currently available, we'll be lucky if we see the Rev by this time next year. All indications are that Nintendo is going for a holiday '06 release, which will probably put them behind PS3 which is likely to launch sometime in the summer.

However... if the Rev's launch lineup is that stacked (FF:CC, Zelda, Metroid, SSB:M) they could sell some serious hardware straight out of the gate. Hopefully they learned something from the GC launch when they had very little in the way of good titles out there (seriously... what was worth buying until Melee came out?). Of course... asking Nintendo to admit and learn from a mistake is kind of like asking the same from a teenager. Sure it would be great, but it just ain't gonna happen.

I would need some serious games to get me to buy ANY new consoles. Im a very patient man and can wait for the price to go down and or a good line up of games. Plus my PC is STACKED and PC games are generally cheaper than their console versions. That or they are free
